Volunteer Opportunities

Getting involved with EDUCAUSE and your peers in higher education provides opportunities to use your skills and knowledge beyond your campus, contribute to helping other IT professionals like yourself, and have an impact upon your profession.

"The opportunity to participate formally and informally in EDUCAUSE has been a great value to my career and has connected me to a wonderful and talented set of colleagues who I can turn to for any type of advice and recommendation."

—Chris Boniforti, Chief Information Officer at Lynn University

What Opportunities Are Available?

EDUCAUSE offers many opportunities to get involved throughout the year. Appointments are made throughout the year.
  • Member Committees – Advisory committees contribute to special activities and guide association directions. Appointments are made throughout the year and terms range from one to three years.
  • Events – Volunteer to be a proposal reviewer or submit a proposal for EDUCAUSE events.

"In my many years of volunteering with EDUCAUSE, my institution and my staff have always received much more than I have given. I learn, we learn, Notre Dame benefits and hopefully I make a small contribution to our higher education community."

—Ron Kraemer, Vice President for Information Technology and Chief Information and Digital Officer at the University of Notre Dame
