EDUCAUSE board members work together to advance EDUCAUSE and higher education IT, serving as the voice of community members in EDUCAUSE governance and ensuring that the association is responsive to the needs of our diverse community.

Nominations and Elections
Board candidates are nominated by the community and elected by primary representatives of EDUCAUSE member institutions. Each year, two directors are elected. The board selects directors-at-large by a majority vote when a seat becomes available.
The Nominations and Leadership Development Committee is charged with executing the process for nominating candidates to serve as elected directors. The nominations period runs from December to February. Voting occurs during the summer and new board members are announced in the fall.
